Curriculum Planning

At Belfield Montessori Day Nursery, we are strong believers of learning through play.

Our main aim is to provide all the children with the best care to enable them to develop to the best of their ability. We understand that all children develop at their own pace.

The curriculum is guided by the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), ensuring that each child’s individual needs, interests, and stage of development are at the centre of planning and assessment. We promote learning through purposeful play, both indoors and outdoors, encouraging children to develop communication skills, independence, creativity, and problem-solving abilities.

Each room has a monthly topic which is based on the children's interests and abilities providing a mix of child-initiated activities as well as adult-led activities.

We are committed to providing the highest standards and service to you and your child.
